Mission

Seaquester is a private, independent, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation organized in Massachusetts and dedicated to advancing research, technology and education for the safe, stable, and long-term sequestration of atmospheric carbon dioxide in the deep ocean by controlled fertilization, as well as the restoration and maintenance of open ocean seafood stocks. Seaquester is committed to fostering discussions on the ethical, legal and social implications (ELSI) of such approaches to mitigating the effects of anthropgenic climate change and to communicating this understanding for the benefit of society.
