David has been involved in a broad range of advanced autonomous platforms, including NASA's Curiosity rover now operating on Mars. He was responsible for the autonomous control of the Deep Phreatic Thermal Explorer (DEPTHX), which autonomously mapped the deep, presiously unexplored Zacatón Cenote in central Mexico. David is also involved in developing ReefBot for the exploration and conservation of coral reefs, and his company, Mesh Robotics LLC, will be responsible for extending the Science Autonomy of the ATOEM base platform.
